Indiana State Fair

We got to take the family to the Indiana State Fair again this year. I think it was more fun this year because Harley is now at the age where she enjoys doing and seeing things. Our first stop was the goat feeding. Harley had a hayday here. She loved 'spoon feeding' the goats, by this I mean she'd literally put her whole hand into their mouths to feed them the carrot pieces, they didn't have to do anything for their food . We had to drag her away from this exhibit...but there was sooo much more to see.

Next we were off to see the tractors. This is where we spent most of our time while we were at the fair. Harley enjoyed this part but I don't think as much as her dad did! :) David's only real complaint about the fair were the people movers and their honking. They had big John Deere tractors pulling trailers for people to ride on as a way of getting around the fair easier. When they needed you to move out of their way, they'd honk their horns. Harley loved saying 'beep beep' whenver she saw them coming. David's afraid Harley will think a tractor goes beep, beep! As for now, when she does see a tractor, she says beep, beep, sorry dad!

A girl after her dad's heart!

Harley loved sitting on the tractors!

Once we dragged dad away from the tractors, we saw an elephant, more goats, cows, sheep, and piggies! Harley still thinks piggies say 'Wee, wee, wee"!

Harley riding one of the horses, we're sure she had fun even though her face doesn't show it! :)

Lastly, you can't go to the fair with out trying the fair food! Dad went for the deep fried oreos; Harley on the other hand went for the turkey leg!

All in all, you can't go wrong with a trip to the Fair!
